Ashfield MP Hosts Community Litter Pick & Pothole Patrol

You may have seen since early this year I have been out doing regular pothole patrols in different areas of Ashfield with local residents, Nottinghamshire County Council Leader Mick Barton, and a number of County Councillors, walking the streets and reporting potholes and poor road surfaces en masse.

On Saturday morning I was out in Pleasley, but this time I coincided it with a community litter pick to help clean up our streets and restore a bit of pride back into the area.

Britain has a litter and fly-tipping crisis. If you look around our streets, our parks, our countryside, it’s a mess, and everybody knows it.

We are putting our community first.
