Lee Anderson MP: "This is why Nigel has called a by-election in Clacton."

Nigel Farage is the victim of an establishment stitch-up. Reform UK are letting the people decide his fate instead of them.

The Reform UK Ashfield MP says standards investigations are being used as a political weapon.

The mainstream media and other political parties are trying their best to imply impropriety around the 'donations' to Nigel before he became an MP.

The bottom line is, a personal, unconditional gift does not need to be declared on his Parliamentary register of interests.

This was at a time when Nigel was still retired from politics and was just an influencer and TV presenter. He used the money to pay for his own personal security as a result of being continuously targeted by wrongdoers who may do him harm.

Nigel has done nothing wrong.

However, now the decision about whether he should have declared it is due to be made by the Parliamentary Standards commission, a kangaroo court filled with anti-Reform MPs who hate him.

I also note that a senior Tory is now under investigation for trying to improperly influence the standards commissioner's decision making.

Also, it is extremely suspicious that leaders of the other parties, including Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, appear so certain that the investigation will result in a second by-election, as is the maximum penalty that the standards commission can facilitate.

They appear to be pre-determining the outcome of the investigation. Why do you think that is?

It could not be more obvious that these standards investigations are being used as a political weapon.

It's an establishment stitch-up designed to stop Nigel Farage & Reform UK.

As a result, instead of this case being decided by the establishment, Nigel has made the bold choice to hand the decision to the people who elected him, the people of Clacton, by calling a by-election.

The initial reaction of the establishment was to moan about the cost of the by-election to taxpayers, despite the fact that Reform has offered to pay for all the costs of the by-election in full.

But where was their outrage at Andy Burnham when he forced a by-election in Makerfield to rush him straight into Number 10 Downing Street?

That incident resulted in two by-elections, including the Manchester Mayoral election, but there was no outrage about the cost to the taxpayers then.

Nonetheless, with the Clacton by-election, the other political parties now have the chance to get rid of Nigel Farage.

This is something they have been desperate to do for many years. They play every card possible to assassinate his character.

But now Nigel has thrown down the gauntlet and asked the people to decide his fate in a by-election, the other parties dare not stand against him.

They say they aren't standing as it's a 'fake' election, but would they really be boycotting it if they thought they could win?

The answer is no. They know they would be obliterated and Reform UK would prove we still have the overwhelming support of the public.

They are running scared of the voters.

Nevertheless, the people will now have the final say.
