Local Royal Mail Delays Update from Lee Anderson MP After Crunch Meeting.

Ashfield Reform UK Member of Parliament for Ashfield Lee Anderson has met with the Regional Operations Director and Director of External Affairs of the Royal Mail.

Ashfield residents have experienced significant delays in Royal Mail delivery services.

The Ashfield MP took to social media to provide an update on the situation:

"Our posties are working flat out, they are overworked, underpaid and not appreciated enough in my opinion, and Royal Mail's customers deserve a much better service."

"I was advised that extra staff have been recruited and there has been a restructuring in management staff locally."

"Royal Mail advised that there will now be an immediate improvement in the service."

"I will also contact our local NHS services to ask to put barcodes on all letters to patients so the letters can be prioritised."
