Clearly not content with already hammering hospitality businesses with eye-watering tax rises, Labour now wants to introduce a holiday tax.

They plan to devolve powers to local authorities allowing them to introduce a new tax that would be paid by all people paying for overnight stays in paid accommodation, including hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, and holiday lets like Airbnb.
A holiday tax would be the nail in the coffin for the hospitality sector.
Labour's East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward has unashamedly declared that she is looking forward to introducing this new tax in Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire.
Well Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire businesses are looking forward to seeing the back end of Labour.
Meanwhile, all of Reform UK's Mayors have have said they will refuse to introduce this shameful tax in their respective areas.
