Along with the new County Councillor for Sutton West, Terry Cox, Ashfield MP Lee Anderson visited the Central Co-op petrol station on Huthwaite Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, to speak to the staff there about the growing number of incidents of shoplifting, threats, and violence towards shopworkers at the store.

Reform UK made history in the Nottinghamshire County Council elections on 1st May by winning all seven Ashfield seats. This impressive victory unseated the Ashfield Independents from every seat, marking a pivotal change in local politics. As a result of this election, Reform UK has taken control of Nottinghamshire County Council, securing 40 out of 66 total seats.
